海外イベント第3弾！“ CARNETS DE VOYAGE” TRAVELER’S notebook at merci

世界中に知られるフランス・パリのセレクトショップ「merci」とのコラボレーションイベント「“CARNETS DE VOYAGE”（カルネ デ　ヴォヤージュ）TRAVELER’S notebook at merci」を「merci」にて2012年6月22日（金）～8月14日（火）まで開催します。

本格的な旅行シーズンを迎えるパリ、その最先端スポットでもある人気のセレクトショップ「merci」とのコラボレーションにより、「旅」をテーマに「トラベラーズノートと仲間たち」の世界観や魅力、楽しさを、地元のパリジャン・パリジェンヌをはじめ、「merci」に訪れる世界中の旅人たちに体験してもらいます。

期間中、店内には「トラベラーズノートと仲間たち」の特設コーナーを設置。「トラベラーズノートと仲間たち」関連製品の展示・販売をはじめ、カスタマイズイベントでおなじみのスタンプコーナーも設置。イベント限定の「merci × TRAVELER’S FACTORY」オリジナルスタンプもご用意します。
さらに、イベント限定製品として「merciコラボステッカー」を販売します。日本語で“ありがとう”を意味する“merci”。旅先でのステキな出会いや、人々から受けた親切に対し、きちんと“ありがとう”を伝えていくことの大切さを想い、「merci」と共同で企画しました。

“CARNETS DE VOYAGE” TRAVELER’S notebook at merci

Designphil Inc. is holding a joint event, “CARNETS DE VOYAGE” TRAVELER’S notebook at merci,” a world-famous specialty item store in Paris, France, from Friday, June 22nd through Tuesday, August 14th, 2012.
Soon, the tourism season in Paris will be in full bloom. This joint event, set to the theme of “travel,” is intended to let travelers visiting “merci” from all over the world, as well as Parisians, experience the world of the “TRAVELER’S notebook & company”, and the joys the notebook can bring to traveling. The event is a collaboration between Designphil and “merci,” a specialty item store and one of the trendiest places in Paris.
During this event, the “merci” store will run a special section dedicated to TRAVELER’S notebook & company. The section will exhibit and sell “BRASS PRODUCTS,” “Spiral Ring notebooks,” “customizable items,” and so on, in addition to, needless to say, the “TRAVELER’S notebook.”
On top of all this, the event offers an “event-only” product, the “merci Collaboration Sticker”. Of course, “merci” means “Thank You” in French. “merci” and TRAVELER’S notebook & company worked together to create this sticker with the message that it is important to say a sincere “Thank You” for beautiful travel encounters and other acts of kindness by others.
The special section also features a stamp table where you can customize your own TRAVELER’S with an original “merci x TRAVELER’S FACTORY” stamp designed exclusively for this event, as well as some other things.

イベントを記念し、「トラベラーズファクトリー」でも7月上旬より連動企画を実施します。
「merciコラボステッカー」数量限定販売の他、「merci × TRAVELER’S FACTORY」オリジナルスタンプの設置、2Fスペースにて「merci」イベントの様子を紹介する「TRAVELER’S notebook at merci写真展」などの開催を予定しています。こちらの詳細は、トラベラーズファクトリーホームページを確認ください。

Beginning in early July, TRAVELER’S FACTORY too will host a special event linked to the one in Paris.
A limited number of the “merci Collaboration Stickers” will be on sale there. The “merci x TRAVELER’S FACTORY” stamp table will be there. And the second floor of FACTORY will feature a photo exhibition of “TRAVELER’S notebook at merci,” to show how the event at merci, Paris, is going. 2009年3月にパリのマレ地区にオープンしたセレクトショップ。1850年代の壁紙工場の跡地をスタッフ全員で改装した店内には、ファッション、インテリア、雑貨、日常生活品まで幅広くセレクトされた商品が並び、カフェや花屋も併設しています。収益を恵まれない子供たちを支援する団体に寄付するというコンセプトを持ち、『Bonpoint（ボンポワン）』の創業者でもあるコーエン夫妻が、世の中のために自分たちができることはないかと考えたことがきっかけで生まれました。『トラベラーズノート』『ブラスプロダクト』などもそのコンセプトやデザインが評価され、2009年12月よりコレクションに加えられています。 アイコンとなっている赤いフィアットが置かれた中庭を抜け、吹き抜けになっているメインエントランスを開けると、パリらしいおしゃれで明るくポジティブな雰囲気に包まれる、パリ最先端のスポットです。

About “merci”
“merci” is a specialty item store which opened in Le Marais, Paris, in March 2009. Its entire staff remodeled the remains of a wallpaper factory from the 1850s to create this store which carries special items of numerous kinds ranging from fashion, interior, and miscellaneous items to articles for daily use, and so on. The store also runs a cafe and a florist’s shop. Its founders, Mr. and Mrs. Cohen, who are also the founders of “Bonpoint,” were looking for something they could do to help the society, and decided to launch “merci”. Thus, the store works on the principle that part of its profits must be donated to charity organizations taking care of unfortunate children. The specialty item store, which since December 2009 has been carrying the TRAVELER’S notebook and BRASS PRODUCTS, appreciates their design and concept. When you visit “merci”, walk through the yard with its icon, a red Fiat, and open the door to the high-ceiling main entrance. There, you will find a fashionable, bright, and happy space. this is Paris! Indeed, “merci” is one of the trendiest places in the city.
