日本の伝統や文化を活かしたおもてなしを追求し、国内外に 45 施設を運営する「星野リゾート」と、繊細な手仕事にこだわりと誇りをもつ日本の職人によるオリジナルのハンカチブランド「H TOKYO」、そして、「TRAVELER’S COMPANY」の3つのブランドのコラボレーションでオリジナルのマスクを製作しました。

今回のコラボレーションは、2019年12月よりコラボレーションのトラベラーズノートなどを各施設で展開していただいている星野リゾートのお声がけからはじまりました。
ホテルのスタッフが制服として着用するマスクとあわせて、「感染症対策はもちろん、オリジナルマスクを身に着けて旅の思い出とともに毎日を過ごしてほしい」という想いで各施設で販売するマスクを作りたいとの話をいただき、企画がスタートしました。
TRAVELER’S COMPANYは、マスクにプリントされている特徴的な建物、客室から眺められる風景、動物など、各施設に由来したアイコンをデザイン。そして、メイド・イン・ジャパンのオリジナルマスクも展開してる H TOKYOが製作をしました。

ホテルの目の前にスキー場がある「リゾナーレトマム」はスキー、自転車旅を提案する「BEB5土浦」は自転車など、それぞれ施設ごとにオリジナルのアイコンをプリントしたマスクを「星野リゾート」国内各施設で随時発売します。
さらにトラベラーズファクトリーのロゴをプリントしたマスクをトラベラーズファクトリー各店で9月18日（金）より発売します。（オンラインショップでは10月中旬を予定しています）

マスクの表地にはナチュラルな質感のリネン生地を使用。裏地には、手触りが柔らかく、肌あたりが優しいオーガニックコットンの生地を使用しています。プリーツタイプにより、サイズ調整可能でしっかり鼻や口を覆うことができ、男性から女性まで安心して使えます。上部にはワイヤーがはいっているので、ずり落ちを抑止し、開口部を最小限にとどめることができます。
また、耳ゴムには、耳が痛くなりにくい柔らかいゴムを使用。耳ゴムの長さを調節できるので、自身のサイズに合わせ、ぴったりと快適に着用できます。結び目を布部分の縫い目に入れて隠すことで、結び目が耳にあたって痛くなるということもありません。手洗いをすることで繰り返し利用できます。
さらにパッケージは旅先から出す手紙をイメージし、留め紐付きのクラフトエンベロップを使用しています。

This original mask was produced by the collaboration of three brands: “Hoshino Resort” which pursues hospitality making use of Japanese tradition and culture and manages 45 facilities in Japan and overseas, “H TOKYO” which is the original handkerchief brand made by Japanese craftsmen who are proud of their delicate work, and “TRAVELER’S COMPANY”.

This collaboration started with the voice of Hoshino Resort, which has been carrying the collaborated TRAVELER’S notebooks in various facilities since December 2019.
This project started by receiving their request of wishing to make masks along with the masks that hotel staff wear as uniforms and to be sold at each facility with the thought of “We want our guests to spend daily life with memories of their trip by wearing our original masks as well as the measures against infectious diseases.”
TRAVELER’S COMPANY designed the masks with icons originating from each facility such as the distinctive buildings, the scenery seen from the guest rooms and animals. H TOKYO, which also produces their original masks made in Japan, made the masks.

Ski for “Risonare Tomamu” located with a skiing ground, Bicycle for “BEB5 Tsuchiura” suggest a bicycle trip & etc., the masks printed with original icons for each facility will be on sale gradually at each facility of Hoshino Resort in Japan.
In addition, masks printed with the TRAVELER’S FACTORY logo will be available from September 18 at TRAVELER’S FACTORY stores. (from the mid of October at TFA Online Shop)

A natural-textured linen fabric is used for the outer surface of the mask. The lining is made of organic cotton fabric that is soft to the touch and gentle on the skin. The pleated type is adjustable to firmly cover the nose and mouth, making it suitable for both men and women. There is a wire at the top to prevent it from slipping and minimize the opening.
In addition, the ear rubber is made of soft rubber which is less likely to hurt your ears. The length of ear rubber can also be adjustable to your own size to wear comfortably. By hiding the knot in the seam of the cloth, the knot does not hit your ears and cause pain. It can be washed by hand for repeated use. Furthermore, the packaging is designed to look like a letter from a traveler and is made of kraft envelope with string.

TRAVELER’S FACTORY Original Mask

表はリネンの生地に、さりげなくトラベラーズファクトリーのロゴをプリント。裏地には、手触りが柔らかく、肌あたりが優しいオーガニックコットンの生地を使用しています。
