皆さんが『トラベラーズノート』に描いてくれた京都のおすすめスポットの写真を募集します。ご応募いただいた写真の一部を、新しくオープンするトラベラーズファクトリー京都に展示、その後、オフィシャルサイトにも掲載いたします。展示となった方から抽選で10名の方にトラベラーズファクトリー京都の限定『トラベラーズノートKYOTO EDITION』をプレゼントします。絵や写真、文章、スクラップなど表現方法は自由です。「京都のおすすめスポット」をお使いのトラベラーズノートのページに表現していただき、写真を撮って送ってください。

新型コロナウィルスの影響で、旅をしたり、自由に街を歩いたりすることが世界中で難しくなっています。そんな中でも人々の安全を守り日常生活を絶やさないよう働き続けている医療関係の方をはじめ、生活必需品や食べ物などの生産・販売に携わる方、交通・物流などのインフラを担う方には感謝を申し上げます。

トラベラーズファクトリーは現在、中目黒・エアポート・ステーションが休業になり、さらに京都のオープンも延期となりました。
私たちが扱うノートは、生活必需品とは言えないものかもしれません。だけど、こんな時だからこそ、家でゆっくりノートに向かう時間もまた大切だと思っています。
例えば、かつての旅を思い出し、これからの旅を想像し、ノートに向かって絵を描いてみたり、思いのたけを文章で綴ってみたり、未整理の写真やチケットを貼ってみたりする。すると、不思議に穏やかで落ち着いた気持ちになります。
ノートに向かいながら、あらたな旅を想像することで胸が高鳴り、気持ちも前向きになり、旅をしているような気分になることができます。

もしからしたらトラベラーズファクトリー京都のオープンにあわせて、京都を旅する計画を立てていた方もいらっしゃったかもしれません。もちろんオープン時ではなくても、いつか京都を旅したいと思っている方もたくさんいると思います。
今は難しいですが、いつか日常が戻り、京都へ旅ができる日が来ることを想像し、それぞれの京都のお気に入りの場所をぜひトラベラーズノートに描いてください。
トラベラーズファクトリー京都がオープンとなったらそれらの写真を店内に飾り、そのワクワクをみんなで共有したいと考えています。

We are currently looking for pictures showing how each of you depict your favorite places in Kyoto through your TRAVELER’S notebooks. A selection of the submitted photos will be exhibited at the TRAVELER’S FACTORY KYOTO following its opening and posted on the official website. 10 people who had their work exhibited will also be selected at random to receive a TRAVELER’S notebook KYOTO EDITION , only available from TRAVELER’S FACTORY KYOTO. Use a page of your TRAVELER’S notebook to illustrate the place in Kyoto you want to recommend, then submit a photograph of your work. From illustrations to photographs, writing or collages, the mode of expression is up to you.

Due to the spread of COVID-19, traveling and freely exploring the city streets has become more difficult all over the world. From medical staff to those involved in the production, sale and distribution of food and other daily essentials, we would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to every single person who is continuing to do their upmost to ensure that others have everything they need to stay safe and continue with their daily lives during these trying times.

As a result of these circumstances, TRAVELER’S FACTORY NAKAMEGURO, TRAVELER’S FACTORY NARITA AIRPORT and TRAVELER’S FACTORY TOKYO STATION are temporarily closed and the opening of TRAVELER’S FACTORY KYOTO has been postponed. Although they may not be basic necessities, this period can provide an opportunity for those at home to dedicate time to expressing themselves through our notebooks.
Remembering past trips or planning future travel as you draw pictures, write heartfelt words or make collages of assorted photos and tickets on the pages can prove to be incredibly therapeutic.
Imaging new adventures through your notebook can raise the spirits and evoke the feeling of going on a journey.

There may be some among you who were planning to come to Kyoto to coincide with the opening of TRAVELER’S FACTORY KYOTO and others who want to see the city one day. Although visiting may not be possible right now, think of the day when you will be able to travel to Kyoto as you draw your own favorite place in your TRAVELER’S notebook.
When TRAVELER’S FACTORY KYOTO opens, we would like to share the sense of excitement with everyone by exhibiting your photos in the store.

(1) Draw your recommended spots in Kyoto on the two facing pages of your TRAVELER’S notebook. (Both Regular Size and Passport Size are acceptable.)
(2) There is no restriction on the mode of expression – texts only, illustrations, photos, graffiti, ink jet printing, etc., whatever you like.
(3) Take a picture of whole two facing pages from straight above to make words or drawing visible clearly.

(4) Prepare higher resolution of JPEG image. The data size should be less than 5MB.
