Franz Storeは、韓国最大の島である済州島にあります。エキゾチックなビーチと山があるこの島は、韓国で最も観光客が訪れるスポットでもあります。Franz Storeは、音楽好きの旦那さんとファッション好きの奥さんのご夫婦が日本の商品を紹介したいとの想いで始まりました。旦那さんは文房具やノート、レコードなどを担当し、奥さんは洋服を担当しています。

店主がトラベラーズノートとの出会いについても語ってくれました。
「トラベラーズノートと出会ったのは京都でした。友人が使っているのを見て、一目惚れしてしまいました。どこで買えるのだろうか考えていたところ、中目黒を旅行していた際に、たまたまトラベラーズファクトリーを見つけ訪れました。その時は興奮して、あれもこれもとスーツケースがいっぱいになるほど買ってしまいました。それ以来トラベラーズノートは、目黒川の桜を思い出させてくれる道具にもなりました。帰国後、韓国のTRC代理店に連絡を取り、Franz Storeでも取り扱うことになりました。普段から紙が好きでもあったので、とても嬉しかったです。それからずっと、韓国の済州島からトラベラーズノートを紹介し続けています」

Franz Store is located on Jeju Island, the largest island in Korea. This place is the most visited by tourists in Korea. There are very exotic beaches and mountains.
Franz Store was started by a music-loving husband and a clothes-loving wife who wanted to introduce Japanese products. The husband introduces and sells stationery, notebooks, and vinyls to various people. The wife introduces clothes.

He told us about his encounter with TRAVELER’S notebook.
It was Kyoto, where I first met TRAVELER’S notebook. I fell in love with it at first sight. When thinking about where I could get it, I happened to visit TRVELER’S FACOTRY while traveling to Nakameguro, Tokyo.
At that time, I was so excited that I bought enough to fill a suitcase full of this and that. TRAVELER’S notebook became a tool that reminds me of the cherry blossoms of the Meguro River. After returning to Korea, I accidentally contacted the Korean TRC distributor, and from then on, I decided to carry them at the Franz Store. I was very happy because I usually value the texture of paper. At the same time, it felt good to be able to introduce TRVELER’S notebook from Jeju Island.

ショップがある済州島のシンボルといわれる母なる山、漢拏山（ハンラサン）をモチーフにデザインしました。

The design was inspired by Mt. Hallasan, the mother mountain of Jeju Island, which is said to be the symbol of the island where the store is located.

Crackers Coffee（コーヒーショップ）
Crackers Coffeeは、同年代のオーナー2人で運営しているコーヒーショップで、すばらしいコーヒーを提供してくれます。コーヒーは隣の倉庫で焙煎しています。

Crackers Coffee is run by two owners of the same age, and the taste of the
coffee is excellent. In the warehouse building next door, a roaster factory is also in operation.

Jeju Goro （レストラン）
店名からわかるように、日本料理をベースにした創作料理屋さんです。店内の空間はとても美しく、スタッフもフレンドリーです。かなりの人気店なので待たなければなりませんが、とても素敵なレストランです。

As the shop name can tell, it creates a variety of dishes based on Japanese cuisine.
The space is cute and pretty, and the staff are friendly. It’s pretty popular now, so you’ll have to wait for a ticket, but it’s a decent restaurant.

Sorisumun books（本屋）
ご夫婦で経営されている素敵な本屋さんです。お店はとても小さいのですが、独立系出版社の様々な本が並んでいます。目の前にはGeumak Oreumという小さな丘があるので、一緒に訪れるのもおすすめです。

This is a beautiful bookstore run by a couple.　Although the space is very small, various books are prepared from independent publishers.There is a small hill called Geumak Oreum right in front of it, so it would be good to go together.
