万年筆やローラーボールペンを快適に使うためには、毎日使うことが一番のメンテナンスとなりますが、インクの出が悪くなった時やインク色を変更する場合、また、しばらく使用しない場合は、下記の方法でペン先の洗浄をしてください。
万年筆やローラーボールペンが書けなくなる原因の多くは、インクがペン先内部で固ってしまうことで、インクの流れが阻害することによって発生します。その場合も、まずはペン先の洗浄をお試しください。

Daily use is the best maintenance for the fountain pen or rollerball pen, however, please flush the nib as follows when the ink does not come out smoothly, in case of ink color change or for a long time absence of use. Besides, in case of dry ink in the nib, which frequently spoils the pen, please wash the nib as well.

STEP 1
ペン先を手に持ち、胴の部分を（１）の方向に回して外します。
インクがなくなったカートリッジを（２）の方向にまっすぐひっぱり取り外してください。

Hold the nib and screw the barrel in the direction (1).
Pull out the empty cartridge straight in the direction (2).

STEP 2
ペン先をぬるま湯を入れたコップに入れて、水に浸した状態でひと晩放置してください。
Put the nib in a bowl of tepid water and leave it all night.
STEP 3
さらにペン先を水道水でよく洗い流し、柔らかい布やティッシュペーパーなどで水気をよく拭き取ってください。水分をよく抜いた後に、カートリッジをセットしてください。
Flush the nib in running water again and dry it off with a soft cloth or tissue. When it is completely dry, set the cartridge.

・落としたり、書く際に力を入れすぎると故障の原因となりますのでご注意ください。
・インクが乾く原因になりますので、書かない場合は、必ずキャップを閉めてください。
・カートリッジをはじめてセットする場合は、カートリッジを差し込んでから指で軽くつまんでペン先にインクを送り出してからお使いください。
・インクカートリッジは専用のTRC 万年筆用カートリッジのご使用を推奨します。インクの種類によっては、目詰まりや故障の原因となりますのでご注意ください。
