This is a set of TRAVELER’S notebook and customized items, inspired by TRAVELER’S AIRLINES, an imaginary airline dreamed up by TRAVELER’S COMPANY.

TRAVELER’S AIRLINES

トラベラーズエアラインの飛行機は、機体の塗装の下にはうっすらと違う航空会社のロゴが透けて見えるような中古の年代物です。機内に乗り込むと、シートに張られたベルベット生地はたくさんの乗客がそこに腰かけたからピカピカにツヤが出ているし、通路に敷かれた木の板は何年も人に踏まれて黒光りしています。だけど、それが不思議な心地よさを感じさせてくれるのです。ボーディングパスはそのままノートとしてお使いいただけます。鉛筆もご用意しておりますので、機内ではノートに向かってお過ごしください。
この飛行機の面白いところは、行き先が乗客に告げられていないこと。つまり、どこに向かっているのか到着するまで分からないのです。誰もが知っている先進国の首都、聞いたこともないスモールタウン、南の島、砂漠地帯、氷で覆われた街……。いくつかの空港に降り立ちながら地球を何周もして、また出発地に戻ってきます。それまでどのくらいの年月が必要なのか分かりませんが、旅が終わる頃には、楽しかった思い出や旅先でひらめいたアイデア、そして旅と共に見つけたあなたの本当の言葉がたっぷりノートに綴られているはずです。

TRAVELER’S AIRLINES pilots vintage planes, with the logos of different airlines faintly showing through under the fuselage’s paint. As you board the plane, you notice that the velvet fabric on the seats is shiny and glossy from many passengers sitting on them. The wooden boards on the aisles are polished from years of its passengers’ tread, but they give you a strange sense of comfort. The Boarding Pass can be used as a notebook. Pencils are also provided, so you can spend your time on the plane with your notebook.
The interesting thing about this plane is that the passengers are not told where they are going. In other words, you don’t know where you are going until you arrive. There are capitals of developed countries that everyone knows, small towns that you have never heard of, southern islands, desert areas, and icy cities ……. You will circle the globe several times, land at several airports, and then return to your starting point. We don’t know how long it will take, but by the end of the trip, you will have a notebook full of happy memories, ideas inspired by your travels, and your true words found along the way.
